Good Morning,

Time for some Art Edutainment :)

This week's strip is a parody of a very famous Japanese woodblock print titled "The Great Wave off Kanagawa"
It is a very iconic piece done by Hokusai as one of 36 views of Mt. Fuji.

Isn't art awesome! I've done a lot of western art parodies, so I thought it only fair that I do this one.

I had many different gag lines go through my head on this one, but in the end I decided to let the image itself do all the work.

You might say that I cheated by not carving this out of wood and them stamping it with ink. You'd be right. I've done that kind of art before and it is TOUGH!
