Yeah it's another two-page sceney thing…sort of. This is the part of the realisation that leads on to all the trouble later in the chapter LOL
Backgrounds are hopefully still improving though XD
If you can't tell, it's a photograph. And the building Rainer's sat on at first is the inn they're staying at. He likes to sit on the roof at night. In fact, it's an all too common habit for him. But I guess that comes with being like a bird - you get urges to sit outside.

Also, I get tetanus, poliolioliomilytis and something else I can't remember today… Diptheria, that was it. Hurray. No, I mean injections. I hate needles.

BTW, Chase isn't actually DEAD right now. Jayah and Rojoh never see him again, but we do. Later. I'll let you decide what I mean in my ambiguity.
