I tried to be wonderfully transitional in the first 4 panels. Tell me if I did well or not.
"In his own way" is the most polite way to put it.
RANDOM FACT: Those glasses are his dad's. They happen to work very well for John - but he wears them when he's alone due to…that's right, embarrassment. D;
