I used a photo reference for the truck, and for the planes. But I'm very proud of them, given my usual inability to form mechanical objects.

For this chapter, expect gray scale and more loose watercolors than you are usually subjected to. I do the opposite of iagojester's Fated Feather where she does her comic in gray, and character's memories in color! Bwhahahah! Boy, how I've missed gray scale. . .

Oh, and now you know who one of the soldiers on the cover was. Yep, Lytton Smith, in the middle and toting a combat shotgun. . .
