So, the damn rebuilding in my room is going at the pace of a turtle, and meanwhile the computer's on a fold-out table and the tablet is on a rattly tall bench. I held out on drawing because the rattly bench didn't bode well for the results, but after two weeks I really felt like I owed an update; the lineart didn't come out half-bad, but the coloring really does blow. At least their expressions are good.

Lately I've been plagued with ideas for another comic - this time, though, it would be a little more action oriented. I like subverting genres and clichés, and have been feeling like playing a little on the "sent to magical world" sandbox… I keep catching myself plotting ridiculously convoluted politics for this other world, and coming up with the worst kind of high school students to send over. Since this would mean a lot more plotting ahead and keeping notes than on my current two comics, I'm holding out to see if it'll still sound viable two months into classes…

Have I told you my classes started again? And that I've a lot less time to draw? This new comic would HAVE to be black and white and update once a week at most. Depending on you guys' interest, I might get started. Just… it'll have to wait till I'm settled back in my room.

Another thing: since I first put up the donation button, I've received a grand total of 0 donations. Now, I can't force people to donate, and I'm not going to hold my comic hostage for ransom, but it would really, REALLY help me. Art students should know how I feel - my parents were never exactly supportive of my carreer choice to begin with, and they're really not keen on buying a pile of brass and aluminum sheets for me to art on, not to mention lithography pencils, touche and acids. So, please donate. A single dollar will go a long way to helping me.
