Hey, guys, guess who got an Intuos for birthday? Me!

This page was drawn on it. There isn't much of a difference on the resulting page, but the drawing process was definitely improved - I wasn't aware of it, but my previous tablet (a 5 year old Genius) was actually very unstable, and the resulting lines would be wobbly and require lots of retracing and erasing to get what I wanted. Principally on Open Canvas.

On the other hand I'm still trying to figure this behemoth out, and so is my computer. It feels so different from my old one, and it definitely requires more memory than the other. But whenever I look at it I just feel all full of squee. It's so -pretty-! It's so -cool-! So -light-! So non-wobbly!

This year sucked for me, but at least it ended on a high note. That said, belated Happy New Year. :)
