Yes, well I have not been around for a while… Thank you so much for waiting!
I have two long rants about how I have been the past few days. Feel free to ignore them but if you have a moment go ahead and learn a little about my private life.

So my life has been super crazy because my boyfriend tested for his second degree black belt, which is kind of crazy in our style. Regular black belt tests (which I will be going for in October) are 48 hours long with no sleep and little food. You do all kinds of crazy stuff during it like run 10-14 miles, meditate in the woods for 8 hours at a time, break cement… And all in between that is doing your forms, self defense holds and stances. It is a brutal thing. Well anyway that is for your first degree so my boyfriend had to do something even harder. He had to sit out in the woods near the top of this mountain for 50 hours in a meditative state with absolutely no food. No one was allowed to check on him until his time was up and the only way we knew he was okay was by checking this rock he was supposed to flip over at the base of the mountain twice a day. He then came back and, without getting his strength back yet, did all his forms, stances and self defense and sparred with everyone in the school. Doing all the stuff at the end took about 5 hours. And that is why I was really worried and stressed this weekend so it was really hard to do anything else.

Besides all that I also need to look for another job. You see I work at this music hall/restaurant along with my 2 roommates and boyfriend(who also lives with me). One of my roommates stood up for me because one of the bartenders was talking shit about me behind my back because I don't drink and he keeps trying to get me to. My roommate, Cole pulled him aside after and asked him not to do it anymore and then the bartender freaked out at him and pushed him. Cole was really upset about the whole thing and told our boss that as long as the bartender works there he refuses to. See now I am just so upset about the situation and if my boss is seriously going to keep this bartender who assaulted another employee (oh and sucks at his job by the way) instead of my roommate who is an awesome cook and a really hard worker, then I don't want to work there either. I have pretty much lost any remaining faith I had in that place.
