Well I went through many drafts of this part. This kind of thing feels somewhat cliche to me but it really was the easiest way around the fact that Adam needed to be broken out of this energy bubble.In order to do this, Val tripping on him was quickest. But then it meant she would be falling. Adam catch her? Nah felt a little too romantic. Have her actually hit the ground? Nah Adam would feel bad. He wouldn't just let her hit the ground anyway. He is already on the ground so he couldn't easily catch her……
And hence, I arrive here. It ended up cuter than I really needed this part to be…not a bad thing though.
