Near where I work there's this plant that made these balloons. They were manned, maneuverable, and could go so high you could no longer see them (I watched a demo-spectacle once, as one took off then rose out of sight! Took a while…) Anyway, the selling point of these things is they could function as relatively cheap replacements for surveillance satellites and planes, watching borders, etc…

Anyway, I reimagined one being used by the military, holding a detachable craft if a speedy deployment might be needed somewhere else. If anything like this really exists I have no clue… but it was fun.

As was Kimber Lee's new suit!

Does anyone remember that scene from Hellboy ("There will always be one more…")? This relationship between Kimber Lee and the military sorta reminds me of the organization from that movie!!
