Originally this was going to be the 'Soul Within II' saga I promised long ago, in which Soul would say farewell to the team. Then, a few thoughts occured to me.

First of all, bghq.com underwent a makeover. Unfortunately, almost all the backgrounds I use have gone as well, since they've gotten rid of the 'Fighter's games' section and are putting all the games in their rightful spots. This means that until it's all fixed up, I won't be able to use any of the backgrounds (Since nowhere else has them). Luckily, the People's Sprites has the backgrounds I need for EtD2 so that won't change at all.

Secondly, I had no idea where this series would be going. I was all out of original plot ideas, so we'd basically be seeing a redone version of an old saga or something from one of my other comics. I prefer to do something new (Okay, maybe not entirely original, but not just a remake of the same stuff we've all seen fifty friggin' times).

Third. I thought I should make a start on the second GG book. Here's the problem, I can't do it. All the previous pages have nothing I can connect them with, except maybe the base getting hit with a lightning bolt and they all go into different dimensions. But that's been overdone, so it's a big no.

I came to a conclusion. The comic would go back to it's superhero roots, but without the team or the random enemies. It's going to be structured like a DC or Marvel comic. One hero, maybe eight villians (With the occasional random maniac) and it's focussed on one city.

Here's hoping all goes well. If not, I'll go back to what I was doing before… which was pretty much just random problems involving sci-fi or fantasy elements.

PS Merry Christmas to you all, hope you had a wonderful holiday. Plus, the most important, hope you got some good stuff for Christmas

Until next time
