Abstract acronyms alarm and alter achievements.

Was watching some old Law & Order SVU and came across this episode where a boy rapes this actress who portrays an undercover cop who more often than not dresses like a hooker or a model. Turns out his mother is in charge of this big group against the show and other stuff. Anyway, the boy got the idea from listening to this radio show his mother hates, and when he takes a deal and pleads guilty, she shoots the show host as a publicity stunt. When the time comes for her to practice what she preaches, she tries to escape justice.

More often than not, this is the only reason people do things like this. To promote themselves, to make themselves famous. But when they get the opportunity to fix a problem that's partly their responsibility, they won't lift a finger.

Personally, any form of hypocrisy pisses me off. I mean, yeah, these people are part of the reason they don't swear in kids movies anymore, which I like. If they aren't just flying off the handle full of shit, then I can respect them. If, on the other hand, they just want to blame something because they're bad parents, then I say they need to get shut the hell up.
