[448] Intermission: Kevin's Birthday

Just a little birthday comic I did for Kevin when my microphone crapped out on me. Too bad though, would've loved to have been in that Flash.

One thing I've noticed about making comics lately is that writing them seems to be catching my interest a lot more. Not seeing them drawn up, or after I've put the sprites together and made a punchline, but seeing the story on paper. It captures me more, because then in my head, the characters are perfect. They are exactly how I want them to be and look. And the story flows exactly the way I want it to.

Having said this, I'm going back to novel writing. Of course, it helps when I have someone to push me on and make me write more. And so, while reading 'Looking For Group' I noticed that Ryan Sohmer needs a co-writer for a sci-fi/fantasy book. So, I've submitted a story extract, told him I had a published work in that genre, neglecting to mention it was through Lulu (Don't tell me you'll never have to lie on a job application) and asked him that even if he didn't want me, could he at least tell Marvel about me, should he ever get the job he wants writing for Ultimate Spiderman. Anyway, wish me luck.

And in the meantime, I'll be writing my own work. Sci-Fi/Fantasy just seems to be the genre I'm best suited for, so I'll work with it. But, to you guys, I'll just say have a good weekend and see you all on Monday
