[480] Storm: Some Distraction

And they were waering white tshirts and forgot to wear bras as well. Now who can say they wouldn't be interested? And a welcome to the new reader.

Okay, a few weeks ago I told you all I was going to send off a Fatum Chronicles proposal to Dark Horse. Well, I just mailed it, so wish me luck.

For those of you unaware of the process, first off you have to decide on whether you're doing a graphic novel or a comic series. The FC I wrote is a comic series (22 pages, released monthly). Then you have to write a 2-5 page synopsis of the series so they know where it's headed. That was easy, and took up about three pages. Then, you have to send the scripts for the first eight pages of the first issue. Was fun redoing the first Aussie vs Wizard battle.

Anyway, it's obviously not there yet, since it takes about a week for a letter to get across the Pacific Ocean, and I expect it will take a while before an editor even gets a look at it, so I'd say wait about 2-3 months for me to give you guys the good news that I'll have an artist and such.

However, I'm not going to be delusional and think 'The second they get it, they're going to call me'. I don't think they send rejection letters, but they do keep everything that they get, so maybe one day, if not straight away.

Oh well, just remember to keep me in your prayers. That's really all I'm asking.
