[507] Exploration: Decoration

Okay, I know I promised something different. See, I found another artist for the redone version of Fatum Chronicles, but like all the others, they quit. Today was supposed to be a teaser poster, so you'd all know it'd be launching on Monday.

Lately I've been re-reading a lot of the archives in comics I read and it's weird how I barely notice the improvements in art. One character could look completely different after 50 pages and I won't notice until about ten pages later. Of course, there are comics where the change isn't that drastic and it's very gradual over the years, but I always get a shock when I jump from the last page to a page in the archives from two years earlier and think 'God damn!'

But, with my own art, I notice the jumps right away. Of course, that could be because I don't draw as often as most comic authors and sometimes I go for weeks or months without drawing anything.

I remember predicting that if I drew two pages every day, within a year or two I could be a pro. But now I'm not drawing full body anymore. I'm moving onto strip-based American and while that may help me eventually and I do seem to find it so much easier, my old full page manga style littered with action may have been able to get me to that pro stage by January as I wanted it to.

Oh well. I guess that timportant thing is I'm doing what I like. I'm not getting as many comments as I used to, but the readers still show up on the stats page
