If I can't think of a punchline, I throw in some action or move the plot along. I need a punchline generator or something, but only one that makes funny stuff.

A little while ago, I realised that this September, it will be three years since I started making webcomics. So, I started to think about how far I have come and started to realise that, compared to a lot of people, my evolution hasn't been as great as some others.

This makes me wonder, what am I doing wrong? I've asked a lot of people and they say they like my writing, so I'm thinking about the other aspect. Could it be that I'm using the wrong artists? Am I making sprite comics with the wrong sprites?

So, I'm thinking about where to go from here. Should I try and find an artist who is popular on DD and maybe write something with them? Could it be that this is the most popular I'll become on drunkduck and so I should move onto somewhere else? Maybe get my own site or start another comic over at comicgenesis.

I know, I know, webcomics are only supposed to be about doing what you love and being just a hobby, but it seems like I'm failing. GG hasn't had a new reader in a long time, barely anyone comments anymore and while I used to be strip #112, I'm down to 230. I'm going to end Enter the Duck 3 soon because it's lost its fun, but as for GG, I promised myself I wouldn't stop until the end, which I may make happen sooner than was planned.

However, now I'm thinking I need to scrap both comics and just concentrate on Warriors of the Night and I Felt Like It, while awaiting for the artist to draw Fatum Chronicles to finally show themselves.
