He's liquid now. Expect him to stay in one spot?

I've just realised that in a few months, it will be three years since I started writing comics. Now I've already done the rant about how I seem to be getting nowhere, so now I'll talk about how I have progressed.

In the beginning, before the big crash, everything was made with MS Paint and it took me just over ten minutes to do a page. I had five different comics that I did. One updated Mon-Wed-Fri, one updated every second day, another updated Monday and Thursday, the fourth was Sunday and Wednesday and the last was on weekdays. In total, that was either fifteen or sixteen pages a week, and it would only take me a few hours to do those pages and set them up to update on their assigned days.

Let's take a look at what I have today. The GG page you're looking at took 40 minutes in total. And the I Felt Like It pages usually take me an hour or two. What about my other comics? Well, Enter the Duck is ending today, but that usually takes me a few hours. Warriors of the Night was written a few years ago, but I'm spending a lot of time on the upcoming chapters. And Age of Ends, that takes me four days to write a chapter and then once Rokas pencils and inks, I sepnd a further four-five hours on colours and letters.

Could I do better? Most likely. If I could just get a tablet and a new PC (Or maybe a mac, I don't know) and monitor, I could probably shave an hour or two off of making GG, AoE and IFLI pages. The problem is that my current system is ten years old (My father is in absolute shock that it still works) so a lot of programs and games don't work on it and the damn thing keeps freezing up at least once a day (It's getting to the point where only freezing twice is going to be considered a good day).

So yeah, better comics will come when I finally upgrade, which will be when I run this PC into the ground and still try to squeeze a few comics out of it.

Seeya all on Monday

Until next time
