[531] Intermission: Kevin's Screwed

What the hell is this? Sorry, but I hated every arrangement I did for the fight I had scheduled, so I'm putting up this guest comic I made for Kevin. For those of you unfamiliar with Pokemon Heroes, it was announced a year ago that the 100th page would be a flash. We're all still waiting while Kevin posts guest comics every day. This means his spot in the top five sprite comics is still secure, because people with alerters come by every day because they can't delete their faves. Today, it was announced they can. Hence the title.

Another reason I didn't update today was because I have very good news. Wonderous, tremendous news! After all this time searching for an artist and getting ditched, I have received official word that Fatum Chronicles will be drawn by an art team and have an issue published every month starting this January!

Yes! I competed against another hundred submissions and my FC proposal won! I am ecstatic! I thought WotN would be my first published work, but now it's going to be this bloody comic! Oh dear God I am so glad I didn't quit. I think I can only sum up my feelings in a quote:

"This was a triumph
I'm making a note here, huge success
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction"

So yeah, right now they said just come up with four issues so the writing is fresh when the comics come out, so I'm just making a little story arc based on the first few sagas (Prologue and Recruit are in the first issue, Amulet is the second one and I've got Emerald planned to be a two parter for three and four).

So I've got FC in January and then the WotN book in July. And I've been told I might be getting a few domains for the two. Yes people, 2009 is going to be a very good year for me.

Also, I bought the first collection of 'Y: The Last Man'. A pretty good read. I need to get into more Vertigo stuff. Also, I might get Wanted next time I see it, and Watchmen. There's a bunch of other graphic novels and books I want, but don't have the money for. Time to start saving the cash.
