At first, not even I knew the Wizard's true motives behind his plans. At first, it was simple petty revenge, but I always knew that there was something much deeper under his skin. This was revealed in the storyline where he made death impossible. Pure jealousy and arrogance, with a fierce desire to become beloved by the people of Fatum.

These past few days have been rather busy for me (Tried to arrange a few guest comics, but that didn't happen). Colouring jobs, writing stories, classes, job interviews/applications and then today and yesterday I had to negotiate the publishing contract for Warriors of the Night.

Jayfri and I are getting paid a page rate, but we don't get any profits until 50 books have been sold, as to cover the costs of printing. Also, we get to design all the pages and include any extras we want. The biggest problem has been page size and price. I have a number I need to be met in order to include the extras, but my publisher thinks I'm being greedy and inserting pointless blank pages.

I offered to allow a few advertisements in the back to cut down costs so that we could lower the price down to what I want it to be (He wants $20 so there'll be a profit. The book is under 200 pages, so I think that's too much), but now he wants to insert twenty littered throughout the entire book. I agree with his promotion methods, they're good, but he seems to be a businessman, not a comicker. Negotiations continue (And hopefully end) tomorrow. (Damn, Fatum Chronicles wasn't this hard. I got everything how I wanted it). I should be able to allow pre-orders for the book next week though.

And the last thing that's been keeping me busy? Well, I just might be engaged. Not sure, but I guess I need to start at the beginning. Met a Texan girl at onlinecomics.net last year who needed help wiritng a book. We became good friends and at the end of last year, we started cyber-dating. This week, marriage came up and without realising what I was doing I popped the question and got a yes. We agreed it wouldn't happen for a few years, until we meet in real life a few times and got to know each other better, but yeah. Also, for those of you wondering if she's good looking, she's done modelling but isn't stick skinny, just a nice figure.

So yeah, that's been my busy week. I think I might finally be entering this thing known as 'adulthood'. So far I'm a little conflicted on it, the good and the bad, but at least I should be out of my parents' place within the next four years. Growing up seems to be strange to me, but it's also been fun… sort of. Who knows what will happen next?

Have a good weekend and hopefully I'll see you all on Monday.

Until next time
