[570] Preview: New Strip

So there was going to be a page today, but then I realised that it would screw up this little specific schedule I had, in which I had to reach page 600 by a specific day. This way, I can do a five in one week update in a few weeks and have everything perfect.

So, what exactly is this? I downloaded some balloons and sound effects from blambot and had the urge to do some colouring and lettering. Then I came up with a new inking technique, everything snowballed and I ended up drawing several strips. All five are completely inked, three are coloured and two are lettered. All I need to do is get some proper inking pens and learn how to draw my characters to look alike and I'm good.

Now, I know I've done this many times. I start up a comic and lose interest quickly because there's no incentive or I don't have a partner to help motivate me. That's why I'm going to issue a challenge to the webcomic community. Starting Monday the 8th of December, every one participating must start a brand new comic and upload a strip or page each day. You can do full-page stories or newspaper strips, colour or black and white, comedy or serious. As long as you can get five updates done on time each week, you're still in the game.

Everyone puts $5 into a paypal account owned by the judge, who will monitor the comics participating. If you miss a day, or update with a filler, then he crosses your name off the list along with everyone else who missed. Eventually, only one will be left standing and they will receive all the money that was put in (Say 250 people enter, the winner gets $500).
