Persona 4 in general was a game of few surprises for me. Whether it was stuff I just saw coming or stuff that I'd gotten spoiled on ahead of time, I rarely was like "Oh man, I did NOT see that coming!" when playing either version of Persona 4…
But man was that my reaction upon seeing the Sea Guardian for the first time. So naturally when you catch a fish bigger than you…it eats you. Seemed the logical way to go. Also the Fox is in the last panel because catching the Sea Guardian became the new Rank 10 event so rather than retcon that I just decided to have it show up here.
