Like every other case, I tried to find some way to make the death of a character funny. While Yumi's dad dying isn't exactly the saddest moment since we never really meet him and Yumi spends most of the link saying she hates him, I still wanted to go with the whole soap opera element of this link. Which is why you may notice the actress playing Yumi's mother has been recast from her original appearance…and this actress will also probably get fired for staring straight at the camera in panel 2.
