Good Words With Sako, Issue 5 Front Cover

It won't be out until January at some point, but before the end of the year it felt appropriate to just get the preview front cover done for issue #5. When I was a kid collecting Spider-Man comics I used to love seeing the preview image of the next issue's front cover and anticipating it, and while I don't expect that level of hype over my work it feels right to keep the tradition alive, and I do have the story layout done for this issue and am very excited over it.
This will be the first issue of 2021 and it feels a little bittersweet for me somehow. This comic has been one of the biggest things keeping my heart uplifted during the depressing, saddening year that 2020 was, and carrying Sako into what will hopefully be a better year eventually makes me feel like I'm bringing her along for the happier days. I'm grateful for the good cheer Sako's given me, and grateful for everyone who has followed it and understood the heart of it.
So from all of us at KaijuKid Comics (aka me, my wife, my cats and a crap ton of kaiju action figures, and for sentimental reasons Sako), we offer you the best I have to offer, this ongoing story I adore, and wish you a Merry Christmas, blessed Holidays, and with all sincerity a very happy New Year.
