Sometimes when writing the comic I just place the 2 characters in the first panel and see where that takes them. This is one of those cases. I was trying to make something more visual for this particular strip on this particular day. Most of the comics I do are dialog but I know that people appreciate the visual aspects as well. If you can get both things in there then you have gold.

Also, I need to give Amy some props because her comic where Adam meets pac-man ran the day before I came up with this…
