We start to see elements of the architecture and design of Gorph (that's the planet's name… stolen from an old arcade game called Gorf. We were both pretty influenced by Douglas Adams at the time. While we wanted to do some serious stories a lot of the Hitchhiker's Guide style goofiness appeared in character and place names). We put a lot of thought into what the world looked like, and tried to make areas our characters inhabited consistent from panel to panel. Fred was much more responsible for most of the architecture designs, as well as the various cars, spaceships and other technical aspects of the series.
