Author notes
In Issue #1 Greylock mentions that he is reading a book by Anton Aermael. This is him. Aermael is a Hunter S. Thompson-like journalist, best known in our universe for traveling to the far away, mysterious and dangerous Kestrean Empire and reporting on his adventures there. This is a beach vacation gone horribly awry. The woman in the background is Kestrean warrior-woman Kenada. Aermael thinks of her as his Bodyguard/girlfriend. She thinks of him as her concubine.
