While at GorphTek University Les and the other students encounter many influential teachers. Chief among them is Lob Opee, professor of Philosophy and Religion. Opee is Greylock's academic advisor, serving as his greatest advocate and as his biggest foil. Opee also takes Les under his wing, becoming a surrogate father, mentor, and friend.
