Oh boy, has it been a long time since I updated. Not as long as some comics but I did say on twitter that I would do it by the end of the month and I was right. you'll notice that I tidied up the archive. I won't be leaving fillers here. I want it to be 100% comic. I'm aiming for every Wednesday and I'll try very hard to get a buffer going so I can sometimes work on other projects.
I added a cast page. In the spirit of the little icons I am making all the head shots round with a border. I need to add the nerts and tradpole too.
This comic is made in illustrator. And I LOVE it. I can go on and on about it. No more fighting to fill by selecting the exterior lines, shrinking the selection then filling. Now I convert the finished line art to live paint, adjust the lines fill. I know at once by the outline if something isn't meeting. Everything scales easily because it's vector art. It's no wonder all the big webcomic people like to use it. Simply put, it's amazing.
Clipping masks alone makes it worth it. Look at panels 2 and 3, super easy to adjust that. I won't be depending upon templates any more, especially since my fave place went belly up before I could download all the templates I wanted. Ah well, guess it's for the best.
