Chopped off fingers and burning flesh. All the gore in this comic so far and this page has for sure been the hardest (emotionally) for me to draw. Nick's "you have failed me face" broke my heart. Especially to paint, I normally like painting bruises, but I was just like omg this is Nick waaah. Depleted optimism is the worst. Oh man the things I do to my babies, I'm terrible >; BUT. I am still excited. Because there's only 5 pages left in this issue and that's pretty crazy.
