Mermaid

I just thought I'd share this with you all. I've been going through a rough patch recently and so I wanted to test whether or not my artistic abilities have come back before I try any more comic pages.

Some notes on the art:
The nipple should have been left shaded, not inked.
The parts of the tail underwater should have been left in pencil, not ink, but ah well.
The rock is being hit by spray, and the darker shading is from previous water-marks.

And no, I didn't get lazy with the scales XD I, in fact, rubbed most of them out as I was inspired by this picture: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Waterhouse_a_mermaid.jpg
…But I gave her some "stronger" scales where tail meets back/fin as I believe this would be the anatomy of the mermaid.

I'm considering colouring her at some point; what do you all think?

I'm going to try and work on some comic pages either today or tomorrow.
