That bird on top of the Furshlugginer Bros. Studios logo isn't a peacock – that's the Furshlugginer Bros.' Techno-Color Turkey, mascot of the Techno-Color system they introduced to compete with the better-know Technicolor standard. It resulted in a years-long battle over the trademark, which only ended when Technicolor dropped the suit after their engineers told their lawyers that "no one who isn't Furshlugginer is actually using the Techno-Color system."

Producing this webcomic for a pace of four updates takes a lot of time… and it's not cheap for me, what with paper, ink and pens (going all digital would be even more spendy).
