And so Chapter 5 ends. I know it's kind of dorky for Hermes to be dressed as a superhero by the end, but in American comics a lot of superheroes were inspired by him (Shazam Captain Marvel, The Flash, Namor the Submariner, etc.) so I thought his "hero" design to be an omage to that.
I hope you all enjoyed reading this chapter. I thought that the fact Hermes' sandals, Talaria, were made by Hephaestus is commonly overlooked in mythology so I thought that this would be a good way of bringing life to that part of Hermes' backstory. Granted, there is no actual myth that went into detail on this matter so I took a lot of liberties in making this chapter.
This month looks a little busy for me, so I don't know when the next chapter will be started on. However, I did write a script already so when I feel confident I can dedicate a lot of time to Chapter 6 you can bet I'll work fast. I may use this time in between to expand some of the Hephaestus universe.
