In mythology, after the Titan War Zeus had four females he was close to. Hera, Demeter, Metis and Thetis. Metis and Thetis were commonly used as the same goddess so as for only three brides to Zeus but in this series they are different. Thus, Zeus was quite intimate with Thetis but she bore none of his children.
