You can probably see by now how Change figures into the Bombshell mythology. For Bombshell, the "military industrial complex" is evil personified. Its existence raises the question to what degree internal peace depends on external war - how a nation can increase the well-being of its people by constantly waging war on other peoples (without the latter being a direct threat to the former). And the inverse question - whether making money off securing peace is conceptually possible at all… a notion mocked by Change on this very page. Ironically, the arms race made some elect few very rich while "securing peace".

Also, I already mentioned the notion of "change" being perceived as a threat in Bombshell's (pseudo-)origin. And Obama's slogan isn't lost on me either :P

Interesting way to tell an origin story.

Thanks. It's probably not even an origin, strictly speaking. But it sums up his past and marks his turning point to becoming a villain :P
