This and the next few pages were drawn by fukujinzuke, who did an amazing job! This sequence simply had to look spectacular, so I immediately knew who to assign these pages to ^_^

This page also introduces our main villain/monster for this chapter, Thrawn, created by DAJB for his multiple dd-award-winning comic SHADES, and designed by E.C. Nickel. You can find some additional information about Thrawn here.

Remember: Right now, the only thing keeping Thrawn's mind off the intense pain he's in is torturing arrogant foreign ministers…!

As you might be able to guess, I'm not a big fan of "our" current foreign minister, but that's neither here nor there. What's probably more important to know: In the first press conference he gave, he refused to answer a question posed in English (by a BBC reporter, if I remember correctly – EDIT: I actually did remember correctly, here's the video). You might say it's good manners to speak the language of the country you're in, but hey – I'm not a foreign minister, but would readily answer any question posed in English :p So, this page is making a little fun of that… (and of course, Germany's military presence in Afghanistan is highly controversial, as in every country with a military presence there… so naturally, the foreign minister is an easy target on this issue. I'm sure Thrawn could do better, if he tried :p)
