Okay, as I said before. September Challenge was to draw one of your heroes along with hopefully some colour swatches and a brief description. That being said here is Koikoi's "Kwago!" Who I won't bother to describe myself as he did a much better job. SO!

Bio:

Kuago's real Identity is Joseph Oliveros a student in an international school in the Philippines. He found himself mingling with the popular crowd, mostly because his best friend Vincent (takes the identity of Philippine Eagle) belongs there and seems to always be the center of attention because of his overflowing charisma. Joseph n the other hand is a very quiet and caring person and is known to be the schools smartest student. Just because he's caring and quiet doesn't mean that he is easily pushed around. He doesn't allow others to dictate to him what to do and is actually a pushy person himself. He has a strong belief of his Ideas and hardly never backs down, especially when he believes he's right.

One day their class went to a museum that showcased the gold crafts created before the Spanish conquered the Philippines. One sculpture in particular caught his eye. There in the glass was a very realistic looking Owl sculpture. He wondered why such detail and skill was used in order to create it. For as far as he knew, owls were not sacred animals.

Soon it was time to leave. When he returned home he opened the TV and was surprised to see that a robbery occurred in the Museum and only the Owl was stolen. He looked out the window to see the sculpture sitting on a branch and when he opened the window the golden creature flew in and the soul trapped inside possessed him.
The Owl was idealistic and wanted to slowly make the world a better place. Even a long time ago, when it was still alive it continuously saved lives of humans and animals alike from murder and injustice. Although Joseph was reluctant to help the owl, he agreed in the end seeing his as an opportunity to actually create a difference.
With his face hidden underneath a mask he felt a stream of confidence.

Whit this new found confidence, the Owl's idealistic goals and determination, he flies trough the night slowly changing the world.

Backstory of the Owl:

A long time ago in pre-colonial Philippines there was an owl couple that just had their first batch of eggs hatched. It was a happy day for the two, but sadly those days lasted for a few weeks.

One faithful day a pair eagles (Philippine eagles). Attacked the owl family and killed all except one, the owl that will one day posses Joseph. Before the eagle was able to attack him, a young man shot an arrow at it and rescued the owl chick. He then took it home to his son, and together they took care of it. The boy and the owl gained a close partner relationship. He was thought the good values thought throughout the tribe.

Soon it was time for the owl to leave the family that adopted him. He fond himself in the forest, hunting down prey, like a true hunter. But one day, he almost fell prey to the same type of creature that killed this family. (Since he was an animal, it didn’t really matter about his kin). He negociated with him and told him that if he helps him capture and eat the smartest monkey in the forest. The monkey known for tricking and vexing predetors. The owl and the eagle were able to capture and eat the monkey. Afterwards the two decided to create a partnership (although owls are soliditary beings. Eagles in the other hand like working in pairs.) The became close friends and the owl even found the eagle awife.

The eagle’s wife and son were attacked by another animal. The Eagle then swore to create a better place for his next partner and children. He was influenced by the owls “human” values. Through interrogation, they found out that a human hunter killed the eagle’s family. Knowing that the eagle seaked revenge and tracked down the hunters and told them that he’ll leave, but the owl said that he will stay and it wasn’t right to do so, nor was it safe.

The eagle was captured and fell victim to the hunters. They used him as a ritual sacrifice, placing his soul in an unrest. The owl seeked help from his old human friend and they went to the place where the hunters were, but they were too late. From the an arrow was about to kill the owls childhood friend, but the owl blocked it and in the end died, swearing to reform the human world.

The childhood friend created a gold sculpture in his feathery friend’s memory. The owls soul migrated into the sculpture and waited for the opportunity to achieve is dreams.

In the present day, the eagle’s soul possessed the child of Jappy and Joely Sya , for he died in his mother’s stomach, and became Vincent Sya (Joseph’s friend) and the owl’s soul attached it self to Joseph, reuniting the old pair.
