Commentary: I am very excited to see this project finally come to fruition; I've been planning it since March 28th, when Nepath offered me free rein on this third installment of HU. I had been thinking about doing a story like this prior to his offer, but it just seemed to fit perfectly for Heroes Unite.

Much of the time between that fateful day in March and late August, when I completed the script, was spent on integrating the characters I was offered to work with into the story - and I hope the result feels seamless. I used every single character I was offered, apart from two where it was quite clear early on that they wouldn't fit into the framework. But more on that later, when talking about the protagonists makes more sense.
