Commentary: I'm happy to say that my decision to have Tempestdraw this bookend sequence at the monastery (not really "bookend", since it's not the actual first scene in the book, but close enough) turned out to be the right choice, because the way she draws them serves as a beautiful reminder that Blue Beacon's in a self-imposed exile, and we immediately get a sense of why he's exiled himself. Not that I doubted her ability there for a second :-)
That said, I had a bit of trouble assigning a clear-cut role to Psycho. He basically filled in for TheMidge28's blood/hound, who was originally meant to seek out Blue Beacon. If you read blood/hound, then you know that his specialty is finding people by being in contact with their blood. And maybe you also remember that blood/hound's way of finding the perp in the comic's first chapter (now taken down, with a promise to return) was rather messy… which is why we couldn't have him find Blue Beacon after all.
