I've drawn SO many generic bar scenes in my life. It's high time I went out and studied some real-life bars! ^_^ There's an interview on the Ponyo DVD/BD, in which Hayao Miyazaki complains that today's animators all draw from virtual experiences, rather than hands-on ones… that's how it is with me and bars! :P

sux: I have no idea who you're talking about (should probably consult google), but judging from the name "Gonzalez", he does look kind of like the clicheed Southern American villain, I guess ^^; - EDIT: Oh, you mean Speedy Gonzales' cousin…?
