It's been a year since I uploaded the first teaser, which in turn was a month before I started uploading the first pages of this comic. I'd like to take this time to thank all of you for reading it and for commenting on the individual pages. I am humbled by the great response I've received, and I'm also quite proud about that.

This comic is very close to my heart, and while I don't mean to imply that I'm particularly good at what I'm doing (who's really to say, eh? What matters is that I enjoy what I'm doing, and that you enjoy reading it), I feel that this comic is my finest and most ambitious work to date. But of course, I would love to hear your opinions on this matter, especially from those who have been reading my other comics. In a way, this comic is a "spiritual sequel" to signifikat - it is meant to develop some of the basic themes further, but it has also retained some stylistic and formal quirks I had established on signifikat.

I thought this is a good time to put things into perspective - not just because I've been working on this comic for a year, but also because the next scene, starting with the next page, really marks the beginning of what I've been working towards all this time. I have been carefully weaving a web, so that it may support some weight. And now it's time to place that weight into the center of the web.
