Now you know.

I don't even remember how I came up with the "convergent evolution" bit, but pretty much everything you can read in my comics has been planned months in advance. Now, you might probably wonder - why the hell did I have to plan such a cheap explanation that long in advance?! Well, that's because it serves multiple functions in this comic, which will only be revealed much, much later on ;-)

Also, you probably shouldn't believe everything an alien girl tells you :P

JazylH: The potential variation among humans is probably greater than the actual difference between Kel and Kano :P

freefall_drift: Did I send you my script? I'd rather not say it, but that is, once again, exactly what I'll be tackling on the next page ;-)

JNP: You're right, the comic has its own light source. But the idea is that Kano's been living on the station, which has been a strain on her eyes. So, she doesn't need the glasses specifically for reading the comic… she just generally needs glasses! And yeah, sorry about the lack of nudity. I briefly considered doing another comic to just take over the nudity part from signifikat, since Holon can't provide ^^; Then again, Kano is pretty much naked from the get-go. Just not in that aggressively sexual way!

ep1: Haha! In this case, she's actually reading a classic comic from before the time webcomics were invented…
