Basically, my approach to writing a Kel/Kano scene is completely different from my writing any other scenes in this comic. The latter are mainly determined by efficiently furthering the plot and having fun along the way. Writing a Kel/Kano scene is mostly determined by my being driven to arrive at some sort of truth - I know that's metaphorical at best, but it still describes the process quite well, I think.

Also, please compare the 4th panel on this page to the 6th panel here… She doesn't change the subject here, but her reaction is still somewhat… unsatisfactory.
