The following comment actually refers to the previous page - I posted it on dA a few days ago, and I thought I should share it here as well:
This collage serves as a transition between two scenes (what would be a montage in a movie), but it's also done as an introspection on the protagonist's part, which is going to continue on the next page. Here, it picks up some previous imagery and ties it together (at least visually, for now; tying it together in an explanatory way will be my job during the next few chapters :D): the proto-matter Kano "conjured" out of the rock, the alien fungus-like bodies, the "space-fish" which appeared in every chapter so far, the solar eruptions, and brain imagery that has to do with Doctor Sievert's video diary scene in this chapter.
Thanks for reading and commenting!
EDIT: Skipping the Thursday update, sorry! ^^;
REPLIES:
Tantz Aerine: Thank you so much for your continued interest in my work! ^_^ And yes, I totally agree on what concerns strands of hair in one's face. I could never tolerate those. I guess the way Kel wears his hair is just another way of showing that basically, he doesn't care :P
Genejoke & man in black: Thank you both kindly!
Lemniskate: Indeed he is. All it takes is a cute alien girl for some motivation :3
Nepath: Thank you, and I hope what's to come can satisfy your expectations :-)
alejkhan: Glad you're back, and thanks a lot for your kind words! Good to know you're still digging my comic. Also, I'd really like to stress that there's no need for you to feel bad about temporarily not commenting as much - you've been supporting my work for more than four years now, and I'm very grateful for that. So by now, I always expect your absences to be temporary! ^_^ And my comments on your comics are not supposed to come with any obligation on your part either. Then again, I guess the fact that you do feel bad about it means you care, so it's all good :P Thanks again.
