I can't really comment on what's going on here, since that might spoil things. So, I'm gonna comment on something else. Bohr isn't exactly one of the main characters, even though he has more appearances than some of the more important characters - simply because the main plot unfolds on this station, and there are only a handful of people there, and Bohr happens to be one of them. I've always had a backstory for him, and I basically allude to it everytime he appears (the whole helmet shtick), but I never got quite around to telling it. It's one of those subplots which are there for a reason, but the way I'm intertwining them isn't done with a whole of planning in advance, but I rather just pick the strand that seems most reasonable and/or urgent at any given time. I guess for now, the important thing is that Bohr is actually a character, not just a bad excuse for exposition, or someone for Kel to play off against (although that certainly IS one of his raisons d'etre).
