Because even a thousand years in the future, the dead have a habit of staying dead! :P

And so, this chapter doesn't end on a splash-page, but on a (hopefully) interesting revelation nonetheless. Hope you've been enjoying the ride so far! FYI, when I started this comic, I aimed for something like six chapters, but we're not even halfway through at this point… so now I'm aiming for about ten.
