Fun fact: “under God” was not in the pledge of allegiance until June 14th 1954 when president Eisenhower signed it into law.
furthermore, in 1956 “in God we trust” became the official motto of the U.S.
and the phrase was put on paper currency in 1957, both of which Eisenhower was also responsible for.
