Drake's not quite as balanced as he likes to think. This is part of the reason for the dramatic mood-swing when the knight appeared, aswel as some other of the other things he does (the whole kidnapping thing fits in quite well with most dragon ledgends too).

just like most humans distrust and dislike gypsies for some of the magical or fae-like elements in stories about them, Solifidians dislike look down upon pseudo-dians like vampires for their human orrigins. pseudo-dians are also looked down upon or excluded because of how unstable they are. (psudo-dian refers to solifidians that are born human. It's slightly derrogatory because it implies a inferiority. Drake doesn't use the term regaurdless of what he thinks of them because an un-pc seccond son could be disastorous for a noble family, so Drake has learned to avoid slurs if not discrimination. I use the term for simplicity's sake in my comments).

The stick figures are back. finals are starting, and we're getting ready to sell the house, so the following week will be heactic. luckily, the next page or so will be easier to draw due to the lack of backgrounds and siplicity of the drawings. I will be taking a few short-cuts so that I can continue updating every three days.
