ooh, lookie, new page, turns out that knowing that the sad old pic was up for everyone to see was just the motivation I needed to get this one done.

Before anyone asks, no they can't get better. One the Aliquid is gone, It's gone for good. Even in normal Solifidians the Aliquid can slip up and shut down under extreme conditions anf come back later, but if it's destroyed that's the end.

Aliquid was used by the ancheints to refer to a thing's identity, specificaly it's identity in terms of what it is not. I used it for my little metaphysical world because it is the part of the solifidian that is unique from the other solifidians of the creature's race. (who was working on the comic while writing a philosophy paper? Dai was working on the comic while writing a philosophy paper).
