re ccs1989: quite, but it does remind her of their rather precarious position.

re ShadowsMyst: oh yes, Drake has a plan.

re Reborn: I'm not sure Joan likes the name. The whole demonic eye thing is a bit of a sore spot for her, and Drake's definatly taking advantage of this.

re Nigellashade: we shall see what Drake's up to, and Drake and Joan will have to sort out their little power struggle in the end.

re Icysapphire: indeed, they do bicker like a married couple, they're fun to write that way.

re Mina_Lunga: poor old Fitz's dad is standing off to the side akwardly. He's old enough to know not to wade into other people's argunents, and he knows nothing about Drake and Joan's relationshio.

re Rina_ran: is she needs to she could push the emergency part of the bargain to get extra questions, but neither of them are really thinking of that now.
