Theodore? As in Teddy?

It's all really Cerise's fault. We were talking about what to name him, and she spots the dog that roams around campus and is named Teddy, so she says "Teddy!" Of course I say " you can't name a vampire Teddy!" but then a little voice in my head says "why not?"

Now, in addition to the scruffy dog that hangs around school and steals kids lunches there is also a husky I know thtat's named Teddy. It lookes a lot like how I draw the vamp's wolk form, right down to the glasses like-makings around the eyes (Teddy gets shades later to hide his eye color. To make the match even more perfect, the husky's predesesor was a female husky who got a hereditary brain disease and went insane all vicious like. The match was just too good, and the name just too riddiculous to pass up. Can you tell I'm having fun fun with him.

He's also rather tall. Drake's on the tallish side, but if Teddy stops sloching he's about half a head taller.

the last lame thing: Last names weren't used in feudal times because folks never realy left thei home town, and the towns were small enough to know everybody. Occasionaly folks would be identified by a physical trait (Little John) for an occupation (weaver). Lordds eventualy took the name of the lands they ruled (Drake of Londonia). Gypsies are nomadic, so ladt names still served a purpose for them, so they kept the modern approach while in villages last names mostly dissapeared.

CERISE: Just like Dai to blame the woman, eh? XD So, while I named Teddy after the dog on campus, Dai named Teddy after a friend's dog. We still argue about which one he's actually named after. But in either case, poor, poor vampire-boy is still named after a dog.
