yeah, Joan's backgrounds. Some thematic similarities to Teddy's, touching on different things tht have been happening in the human-controlled lands over the past couple of years (because, afterall, we don't realy need magical creatures to help us go to war, we do that fine on our own), an explanation for the complete lack of parents in the begining, and even if you decide to analyse it, a psychological reason for her fixation with storytelling (connection to parents don't cha know), wheeee!
At first I didn't like this page, but all of the large text bubbles help cover up the bleh ness. I can't design tapestries to save my life, just pretent they're awesome.

re Luneko: I was seriously considering sleeping through my Japanese class too ^^ wow, so much glowing praise. Don't worry about the eye thing, I think i've seen a few other comics so it too I think, but i'm not exactly well known enough for people to accuse you of copying :P good luck with your comic, and let me know when you've got it up, K?
re emjee: ^^ I should start adding more animals into my backgrounds again, they've been a bit sterile lately.
re Cheeko: well, not quite as bad, but still not happy, especialy with the whole acorn incident.
re Nigellashade: I'm glad you picked up on the "joan still standing in the sinlight" thing. i've been trying to wright her sympathetic, but still not exactly comfortable.
re Aywren: well, he's got one hell of a sob story. It'd be hard not to feel sorry for him.
re Delta_end64: XP the ants were sort of a whimsy
re Arrijas: nor has she kicked him in the face, which means that he's doing better than Drake
